It has been far too long since I have posted on this blog, as i have been very busy with exams and other subjects, but now I am dedicated to making this production brilliant!
Jack and I have decided that Oly Murs may a bit too mainstream for us, so we have decided to go with a song by a band that we are both familiar with, and that we both know well. They aren't hugely popular, but in a way this is even more of an advantage, as it's something a bit different, and very few people, if any will be doing a song similar to this one.
We're not 100% commited on the song we're going to do, but I would like to do the song 'Call Me Up' as it's really catchy, and I can imagien me and Jack being in the video doing it, as it is right up our street. They haven't got a music video for this particular song, as the band is so small that I don't think they have a budget which allows them to create a video for every song on their album. I've put a couple of pictures of the band bewlo, just so you get an idea of thir image, and who they're tying to appeal to. I will also be creating a powerpoint presentation on the band.
They are a vocasl harmony group who's music is really wingy and jazzy, and easy to listen to. so I think this would be a great band to use.
